The opportunities never end!
The morning after Easter is a quiet one, for me. I had a HUGE day yesterday. It was awesome, and I enjoy thoroughly the opportunities God gives me for ministry.
Two performances of the Easter cantata sandwiched my Junior High Sunday School class. I think that all three services were fruitful and reflected the honor and love of God. What more can I ask for in the context of one morning? :-)
I was blessed, Reader. My own self. Deeply blessed by the joyful service of singing of God's immeasurable love for us. Blessed by sharing from the Gospel of Mark for my class. Blessed by my own guys, who let me just collapse when I got home!
Yet, the year isn't over, and I am only taking a breather before starting on the next wonderful project that I've been called to do. Isn't it great that Christ doesn't limit our service for him? If we are willing...he is able to draw more from us than we might have thought of on our own!
So...next up is the Mother-Daughter banquet and then Vacation Bible School! It's exciting and I'm praying that the Lord keeps me alert to his will as I seek to entertain his people in the most edifying manner possible.
And there are still the books to write! It's so exciting!
Now...I just need to pray that my energy level holds... lol
Hope you are having a terrific day! Even though Easter is technically past, we can live the resurrection live every day of the year!
